Ripe peaches blended with fresh ginger, a squeeze of lemon, and topped with cold sparkling water. Five minutes, zero alcohol, zero junk, and honestly one of the prettiest drinks you will ever put on a table. I make this when I want something that feels special without all the garbage that usually comes with a mocktail at a restaurant. You know the ones. Loaded with cane syrup, mystery flavoring, and food dye number whatever. No thank you. This one uses a whole peach. That's it. Real food, real flavor, and the ginger gives it this warm little kick that makes it feel sophisticated instead of just... fruity juice with bubbles.

## Nutritional Benefits

### Peaches: More Than Just Summer Vibes

- Peaches provide vitamin C and vitamin A (as beta-carotene), both of which are antioxidants that may help support immune function. According to the USDA, one medium peach contains about 10mg of vitamin C.
- They also supply potassium, a mineral linked to healthy blood pressure regulation, per the American Heart Association.
- The natural fiber in peaches (about 2g per fruit per USDA data) may support digestive health and help you feel fuller longer.

### Fresh Ginger: A Real Player in Your Glass

- Ginger contains bioactive compounds including gingerols, which research published in the journal Foods (2019) suggests may have antioxidant and anti-nausea properties.
- A review in the European Journal of Nutrition (2020) noted that ginger consumption is linked to markers of reduced oxidative stress in some studies.
- Even a small amount adds flavor AND function. You are not just using it for taste.

### Sparkling Water: Hydration That Doesn't Bore You

- Plain sparkling water is just water with CO2\. No sodium, no artificial sweeteners, no additives. It counts toward your daily fluid intake the same as still water, according to the British Dietetic Association and confirmed by the Mayo Clinic.
- Choosing sparkling water over soda or commercial juice drinks can dramatically cut your added sugar intake. The CDC notes the average American gets far too many daily calories from sweetened beverages.
- The fizz makes this drink feel like a treat, which matters. If healthy drinks taste like punishment, you will not drink them.

### Raw Honey: A Small Amount Goes a Long Way

- Raw honey contains trace amounts of antioxidants and enzymes not found in refined sugar, per a review in the journal Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity (2017).
- It has a higher glycemic sweetness than table sugar, meaning you often need less of it to hit the same level of sweetness.
- One tablespoon split between two servings is a very modest addition. You can skip it entirely if your peach is ripe and sweet on its own.

## FAQs

### Can I make this Whole30 compliant?

Yes, just leave out the honey. A fully ripe peach is sweet enough on its own. Honey is technically not Whole30 approved, so skipping it keeps this drink fully compliant.

### Can I use frozen peaches?

Absolutely. Frozen peaches work great and actually make the drink a little colder and slightly slushier, which is a nice bonus. Just thaw them briefly so your blender does not struggle, or use a high-powered blender and go for it.

### Can I make a big batch ahead of time?

You can make the peach puree up to 24 hours ahead and keep it sealed in the fridge. Add the sparkling water right before serving though, otherwise you will lose all the fizz.

### What can I use instead of fresh ginger?

Ground ginger works in a pinch. Start with 1/4 teaspoon since dried ginger is more concentrated. Fresh is always better here for the flavor and the mild heat, but ground will do the job.

### Is this suitable for kids?

Yes, it is alcohol-free, naturally sweetened, and made from whole fruit. Kids tend to love it. Just watch the ginger amount if your little ones are sensitive to heat and start with less.

### Can I add other fruits to this?

Totally. Mango, pineapple, or a handful of raspberries all play well with peach and ginger. Keep the base ratio the same and adjust sweetness based on what fruit you add.

## Sparkling Peach Ginger Paleo Mocktail

A fizzy, fruit-forward mocktail made with real peach, fresh ginger, and sparkling water. Naturally sweetened, totally paleo, and ready in five minutes flat.

- Prep time: 5 min
- Cook time: PT0M
- Total time: 5 min
- Servings: 2 servings

### Ingredients

- 1 large ripe peach, pitted and roughly chopped (about 3/4 cup)
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon raw honey (omit or reduce for strict Whole30)
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups plain sparkling water, cold
- Ice, for serving
- Fresh peach slices and a sprig of fresh mint, to garnish (optional)

### Instructions

1. Add the chopped peach, grated ginger, lemon juice, raw honey, and sea salt to a blender. Blend on high for about 30 to 45 seconds until completely smooth.
2. If you prefer a silky-smooth drink with no pulp, pour the peach puree through a fine mesh strainer into a measuring cup or bowl, pressing with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. You can skip this step if you like it a little thicker and more textured.
3. Divide the peach puree evenly between two tall ice-filled glasses. Each glass should get roughly 3 to 4 tablespoons of the puree.
4. Pour the cold sparkling water slowly over the back of a spoon into each glass to preserve as much fizz as possible. Stir gently once or twice.
5. Garnish with a fresh peach slice and a sprig of mint if you are feeling fancy. Serve immediately.
